Nashville Osteopathic and Integrative Medicine, PLLC is a physician practice serving the greater Nashville and Franklin area of Middle Tennessee. The practice provides Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (also referred to as OMM or OMT) along with functional and integrative medicine, describing its work as offering functional, patient-centered solutions for health and wellness. Care is led by Dr. Juzer Husaini. The practice notes that Dr. Husaini works as a medical consultant in addition to the care provided by a patient’s current health care team, and it asks that all new patients have an existing primary care provider.
Services
The practice organizes its care into two main areas. Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment is described as a hands-on approach used by osteopathic physicians to assess and treat how the body moves and functions, examining how regions such as the spine, muscles, joints, and fascia are connected. The site lists concerns addressed through OMM including neck pain, headaches and migraines, jaw pain and TMJ-related symptoms, shoulder, arm, hip or leg pain, joint stiffness or restricted movement, muscle tightness or imbalance, postural strain from desk work or repetitive activity, and athletic performance and recovery.
The integrative medicine offering focuses on functional, systems-based care that looks at how metabolism, inflammation, hormones, and lifestyle factors interact. Listed areas of focus include chronic fatigue and energy issues, stress management, autoimmune conditions, brain fog and concentration problems, digestive and gut health, hormonal imbalances such as menopause, low testosterone, and PCOS, metabolic health, chronic pain, sleep disturbances, and mood-related concerns. Treatment may include nutritional and dietary modifications, sleep and recovery optimization, stress and nervous system support, targeted supplementation, movement, and osteopathic manipulative treatment when appropriate.
