Green Hills Pharmacy has, in its own words, “proudly provided quality pharmaceutical services to the Nashville community since 1974.” The pharmacy transitioned from a Medicine Shoppe franchise to an independently owned local business in the early 2000s. Its current leadership and staff include Jared Lonon, the owner, a graduate of the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy; Jeremy Joiner, a pharmacist and graduate of the UT pharmacy school who also serves as an affiliate professor at both the Belmont School of Pharmacy and Lipscomb University; and Heather Knight, a pharmacist and graduate of the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy. The pharmacy emphasizes friendly service from a knowledgeable staff that takes time to understand each patient’s individual and family healthcare needs.
