Services
Ed Nash Fine Art produces large-scale mixed media paintings and offers them for sale, including through an online store available on the website. Beyond original works, the studio provides residential art installations, commercial installations for hospitality venues such as hotels, and custom car wrap projects. The studio’s catalog spans over 30 named collections and series, including Align, Ascension, Beasts, Cascade, Emerald Waters, Giverny, Infusion, Lake Reflections, Moonlight & Sunset, Nautical Depths, Pink Hillside, Smokies, Spring Fade, and the Terrain series (Beach, Grand Prismatic, Interstellar, Mixed, and Island). The studio notes that its paintings serve as finishing touches to interior spaces and are a favorite among interior designers, and the same large-scale gradation approach is applied across both abstract and landscape designs.
About
The studio is led by artist Ed Nash, who was born in Letchworth Garden City, England, and has been a Nashville resident for 15 years. At age 13 he was awarded an art scholarship to Bedford School, and he later studied Fine Art and Psychology at Reading University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Before pursuing visual art full time, he worked as an art dealer and appraiser. His work reflects the Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy, described on the site as “beauty that is imperfect, impermanent and incomplete,” celebrating the patina that comes from time and elemental exposure as a response to modern society’s obsession with visual perfection. His paintings are held in a number of notable collections, including Netflix, the Senate Building in Washington DC, the Tennessee State Museum, the Hunter Museum, Nashville International Airport, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and Blackberry Farms. The Tennessean has described the artist as “turning heads across the country” and noted that his work is “a favorite among interior designers.”
